Harvest Brodiaea (Brodiaea elegans)
- The corms of way can be eaten raw, or boiled or roasted in an earth oven.
- The corms are typically harvested in late spring or summer when the plant has finished flowering. Both men and women harvest way (Kroeber 1929:261).
- It takes approximately three years for the corm to grow from seed.
- Way grows flowers with six purple-blue petals.
